You were loyal to me for the short time I spent with you (6 months, not a bad innings for my headphones). Although you didn't offer the best bass known to man you more than made up for it with your excellent sound quality and your ability to keep my ears warm recently while blasting post rock walking through the snow.
If HMV don't exchange you for one of your less dead bretheren I pledge to fight the faulty connection that paralysed your left hand side.
We will always have the good times to remember. *sigh*
You will be sorely missed.
